Who we are
Our website address is: https://bespokelabels.net. This is a commercial web site to provide information and advertise labelling services primarily but exclusively to beekeepers.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Visitors may choose to provide their email address in order to receive notifications when a new blog post is added to the site. These email addresses are stored within the website database and are not accessible or share with anyone else. Visitors can unsubscribe from receiving these notifications in which case email addresses are removed from the system.
Images may be uploaded to the website by us only with the copyright owner’s permission. We remove personal identifiable information and any metadata identifying the location where photographs were taken.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site do not currently but may later include embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles and so on). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Who we share your data with
None of your data is shared with anyone other than other readers of the web site. If you have left a comment on the site only your username and comments will be visible.
The site contains no advertising, has no sponsors apart from the owner and has no other links to any data list seller or provider.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website to receive news updates, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service. Currently the site uses Akismet to filter spam messages. Otherwise the only visible data is your username and any comment you have left.
Your contact information
We have only your username and email address and we do not display or share anyone’s email address.
How we protect your data
The site has an Administrator who is the business owner. The Administrator is the only person using access to the site for maintenance, news and updates .
What data breach procedures we have in place?
The site is secured through both the host Internet Service Provider (ISP) Siteground and approved WordPress software. The likelihood of data breach is low. In addition the site is regularly viewed by the Administrator all the private emails between members of the Committees: in the event of any data breach the site can be temporarily closed and restored from the most recent back up created monthly automatically using Updraft Plus and stored within the Siteground site.
